Alma Jenkins Acosta
Partner, Global Career Delivery COO & Warsaw Delivery Centre Head
Alma currently leads the Career Delivery Teams globally and the Global Business Services in Poland. She is responsible for driving customer satisfaction and productivity across all of the teams in the interest of and in alignment with business objectives.
She is also accountable for the on-time quality delivery of the operations’ teams as well as for establishing best practices and standards amongst them. In addition, Alma is the Site Leader for the Warsaw Delivery Centre. In this capacity, she works very closely with all of the Warsaw-based teams cross-LoBs to ensure consistency in the areas of operational excellence as well as the employee value proposition.
In previous roles, Alma managed the Career Analytics Team, the Warsaw-based Career Operations teams, the EMEA Client Solutions Team and on an interim basis she served as the Global Order Management Leader as well as the Eastern Europe Career Market Business Leader. On a daily basis, Alma works with local, regional, and global leaders on projects of regional and/or global impact predominantly for the Career line of business, but not limited.
On a regular basis Alma represents Mercer as speaker and subject matter expert in Poland conferences and client meetings around the shared service industry in the Polish market. She is a strong advocate of diversity in all its aspects. She is also a devoted continuous leaner and facilitator of a lot of L&D initiatives.
Alma has over 18 years of experience in outsourcing and shared service environments with
a special focus on client services, sales support, contract management, and operations. She also has significant experience in the areas of transition & transformation as well as project management. In her years of professional experience, she has participated in the negotiation, planning, and delivery of large outsourcing projects for important multinational organizations.
Before joining Mercer in 2012, Alma worked for several well-known companies such as Accenture, HP, and Huawei. Alma has a Bachelor of Law Degree from Universidad Santa Maria La Antigua in Panama City and an LL.M in International Business and Trade from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Alma fluently speaks English, Spanish, and Polish.
On a personal note, Alma has lived in Poland since 2002. She enjoys reading, cooking, knitting, lettering, traveling, and dancing.
She is the mother of a 14-year old daughter.
